Aside from no NDAs and good vibes, a massive net connection is a base
requirement. I remember finding very cool venue in the Presidio, for an
early iftf.org geo event in 2004, that had no broadband. We had to
sweet talk SFlan into deflecting signal into our space from the
Internet Archive. These days, if we find a space with no net access,
I guess we could round up a bunch EV-DO and Edge enabled wifi base
stations, asssuming decent signal strength.
Seriously, what do we need? 10-40mbits per person x n wherecampers ?

Hey rockstar peeps,

Memorial Day of course is on May 25th. We think that this won't affect
our crowd very much but if you have any thoughts about this please
advise.
We do have some choice in good spaces where we could go; notably the
awesome venues we've used before such as the Yahoo Campus - but it
just seems fair to let everybody have their say.
If you have any thoughts please dm me.
Also of course we'll be looking for sponsorship - please sponsor if
you can.
Other WhereCamp's that I know of coming up include WhereCampAfrica (in
April 2009 I believe ) and WhereCampPDX ( in September 2009 ) - these
folks will be twittering as well into the main channel so keep your
eyes on the twitternets :
