If you are going there, please try and find me some charming dipodils
(Gerbillus amoenus) see: www.gerbil-info.nl.com/otheramoenusuk.htm
They are very small, but supposed to be very tame, also in the wild, they
used to come in beduin tents.
But seriously, there are only very few charming dipodils left in captivity
in Europe, that I am affraid they will extinc. That's a shame, for they are
very gentle and nice gerbils. So if anyone ever comes across such dwarf
gerbils (Gerbillus amoenus = charming dipodil = Giza dwarf gerbil) please
let me know!
Karin.
