About the following....
I hope I do not offend you with this suggestion - but have you checked to
make sure they are not the same sex? This happened to us twice! One time our
"breeding pair" turned out to be two females and the second time two males.
You have probably been at this breeding business longer than we have so are
also more adept at the sexing but I offer this suggestion anyway.
