No problem. =) Yes, Errol has a really massive white scrotum (he's a Dove),
& Violet is a girl -- the vet confirmed my identification, because I
brought them both in one of those little plastic shipping cages yesterday.
I figured it would be best not to separate them & cause undue stress. Also
their birthdays are: Violet 9/27/99 & Errol 8/23/99. They sleep together
with Violet on top, & she shoves him out of the wheel or the dust bath
whenever she wants, so they've got the pair bonding/male-female dynamic
going on, but I haven't seen them "playing leap-frog". They're on my desk
these days (I rotate cages.) Maybe they're just one of those pairs that
doesn't fancy each other? Or maybe they're just slow. I dunno. Any
suggestions? I'm feeding them a mixture of premium food, oatmeal, dried
peas, & a little cat food, supplemented with millet a couple of times a
week... I got some meal worms this week at the fish store & put them in
every cage. I don't know if they got eaten or not. I haven't seen any huge
beetles, though.

thanks,
Rebecca...
