Our Monica had an allergic reaction to her litter and ended on a
course of antibiotics from the vet. Her nose was just like
Violet's sounds, and it took a few weeks before she was properly
back to normal. She didn't have pups (presumably as a result of
not being well, but possibly coincidence) until she was 6 months
old!
We first noticed a problem at 14 weeks, and her nose was properly
back to normal (yuk, crust and swelling gone and fur finally grown
fully back) at around 19 weeks. She had the pups at 24 weeks.
In other words, keep up the TLC and be patient :-)
