No Subject

Hi list.  Our female gerbil was wheezing the other night, so we began to
give her sulfa.  Interestingly, after playing outside the cage for a couple
of hours, her wheezing stopped.  Is it possible that her wheezing was just
an allergy related to dust from chewing cardboard in the cage?  I ask partly
because she is close (or seems close) to having pups, and I'm not sure if
antibiotic can harm the pups.
