Some airlines will take them if they fit in a carryon; if the airline is
warned in advance; if noone else has already reserved that option
(carrying on a live animal in a carrier that fits under a seat, only
one carryon is allowed per plane per flight) AND you have that
vet certificate.
For me, the vet certificate is obtainable from my local vet (a block
and a half away).
I obtain them on request of the purchaser....
[which means I better watch where the animals are going from
now on]
