One way of helping eliminate the need for shipping is if the AGS can
organise some events. Very little shipping goes on in Europe because
people drive several hundred miles to events and exchange and sell
gerbils there or on route. Sometimes this means travelling across
international boundaries, or having to negotiate with Government
Departments. But it guarantees the animals are accompanied by a
knowledgeable person throughout the journey.
