I wasn't going to comment on this topic of shipping, but I've changed my
mind now.
I have never shipped before, but I HAD PLANNED to if the need ever arised.
After reading all of these e-mails about it, I've changed my mind. Now, I
would be so worried about getting caught or other problems occuring, I would
be scared out of my mind the whole time.
I have had gerbils shipped to me before, and everything worked out just
fine. I never thought about it that much before.
I guess I'll just try and sell my gerbils locally from now on.
As for this "rideshare" idea....wouldn't it be great if members of this list
posted when and where they are traveling (for vacations or other
out-of-state trips)?
For example....next weekend (the 22nd-23rd of July) I'm traveling from
Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Elkhorn, Indiana. If anyone along that route (or
anywhere in-between where I wouldn't have to go TOO much out of my way) has
any need for gerbils to be exchanged, I would be more than happy to help
out.
