BTW to Will in Pullman  --  Doug is the person I referred to out here in
western WA as "highly respected breeder who chooses to ship".  IMHO Doug
knows exactly what he is doing, just because he has done the kind of
homework shown in his post.  He also breeds special gerbils, and has
posted to GML that every shipment involves some risks.

When everyone has done homework as Doug has, all gerbils will be better
off.  IMHO.
