I personally called Canadian customs about my hamster last year and the woman
(although didn't sound like she spoke very much english) said that hamsters
can come back into canada as long as they haven't been outside....how they
intend to prove that I don't know. Anyways the point is that you have to
CALL customs yourself to see if you need certificates or anything. But if
you really want (I'm talking to fellow Canadians on this list) exotic colours
then they are available here I think. You might have to do a little
traveling but I dont' think it's THAT bad that you would need to smuggle them
