What I said is that you do not nee a health certificate to bring gerbils
into the US from Canada. I have no idea is you have to have one to bring
them from the US into Canada. That may very well be a different story.
The reason that I mentioned this is because someone had stated that you
needed a health certificate to go between states. I felt this was doubtful
since I can bring one from Canada without.
I have checked this again and have been reassured that you don not need a HC
to bring gerbils into the US from Canada. (I know that you can not bring
any type of citrus fruit in.)
