Hi Susan,
Yes, I use a metal wheel, and not to worry, I've already learned about
the taping trick =) I did a lot of research on gerbils and found that it was a
common suggestion to use tape. Thanks for your suggestion regarding the wheel,
and everyone elses! I put a few dabs of vegetable oil on the wheel last night,
and it hasn't sqeaked since =)
