Hi Jessica,
Do you use a metal wheel? If you do, please consider taping the inside and
outside with masking tape to prevent broken limbs and tails. As for the
squeaking, when we have that trouble here we use a Q-tip and dab a little
vegetable or olive oil in the area where the metal contacts metal. It works
wonderfully! It has to be done again occasionally as the vegetable or olive
oil dries up but I prefer to use vegetable/olive oil in case the gerbils
might lick it.
