Some foods are more fattening.  I tend to stick to things
like a couple of cornflakes or a few cheerios for a treat.
An occasional offering of several flakes of oatmeal on
top of the normal feed ration go over well.

Raisins can be quite fattening.  Plus the problems of
'fresh food' if you offer too much.  Mine got some
apple or carrot twice a week.  Offered at the beginning
of feeding time, and removed from cage the next time
it was looked at/worked on (usually twice a day, once
for a quick inspection, the other was the usual feed,
water, exercise and clean time)
