I agree with alot of the ideas behind KGI. My console work is using KGI
ideas with what is already in the kernel, without any graphics handling.
This is different issue. My design also follows closely IRIX
console/graphics layout. In their design the graphics and console system
are also seperate. WHat they use to handle grpahics is called a RRM
(Rendering resource manager) which is very very complex in itself. The
only reason I know the layout of this design is because I friends with one
of the former core enginners that worked on RRM.
