For some reason your kernel fbdev driver is failing the request
for the ray position. Check that you are a) running matroxfb as
your fbdev driver and b) that you have a FBIOGET_VBLANK in the linux/fb.h
that matches your kernel. I am not sure at what version the support for
the vertical retrace was added.

WaitRayPos will eventually run under DGA when I get around to it, but
I have looked at the DGA driver code and all the drivers use busy-polling
to wait for the retrace.
