WELL! I promised I'd report back here as soon as I got my glasses, and so I am. I ordered my glasses on December 8th, got a shipping notice on the 16th and they arrived here on the 24th. I found them in my mailbox tonight though because I didn't bother checking mail yesterday, oops. Anyway, they are lovely, prescription is right on, no headaches or weirdness like that... perfect.
They arrived wrapped in the soft cloth they provide, inside a ziploc, inside a protective clamshell case, all wrapped in a bubble mailer, so those glasses were nice and secure. I was careful to go by the size of frames I previously had, so these frames are great. I have to get used to such a narrow length lens, going from 35mm to these which are 24mm, but it's expected if you want something so thin and narrow and fashionable! The frame itself seems just what I expected, same mint green color inside as was displayed on my monitor, same glossy black on the outside. If anyone is interested in seeing them up close, I made a set on Flickr: http://www.flickr.com/photos/luna715/sets/72157611667096550/ All in all I must say I am extremely satisfied with Zenni... so much so that I ordered three more pairs tonight! I got the 1.67 on these but I ordered 2 more pairs for myself in that batch with 1.61 because I figured with the frames I was getting, 1mm thickness really wouldn't matter, to save nearly $40. I will let you all know how the next batch goes! --Luna On Dec 11, 11:51 pm, Chuck <[email protected]> wrote: > We all know that Zenni had a problem in October.
