I got a similar email, and mine were shipped on the 4th. This is the second shipping delay I've had from them (and it's the second time I've ordered!), but at least they're on their way.
Just a side note - you can track and confirm Hong Kong post tracking numbers on the USPS web site if they're shipped to the US, which is pretty convenient.
