Well yes, of course I know there are other folks who require a more
severe correction than I do ;o) But my question revolved around a
specific lens: the 1.57 offered by Zenni, to be specific. Correct me
if I'm wrong, but I doubt anyone with a 20-diopter prescription would
be able to get a mid-index lens.

I asked about eye distortion because I read somewhere (ages ago) that
certain lens materials can make it more noticeable than others.
