I remember a story told on this forum, around a year ago.
Apparently someone had a PD measurement made, and then checked their
old glasses. Different numbers, much like yours.
They also had similar problems.
The punchline is that they had their older glasses made to the wrong
PD, but had become used to it through the intervening years...and the
"right" PD didn't feel right to them, anymore. The new eye doctor
gave them the choice of matching their real PD, or their old glasses,
and they took the option of matching the old glasses...they were happy
at that point.
Talk to your eye doctor about your options...discrepancies need to be
dealt with.
