Hi, I have a prescription of -14.75 and I know that even with the thinnest lenses (1.74 Aspheric Lens) my glasses can still end up looking very thick. My current glasses are 40 cm wide (John Lennon frames) and an earlier pair I owned were 42 cm. Every pair of frames I have found with these widths though, are too small for my head. I need at least a 130cm total width. I even found John Lennon frames at framesdirect.com but they don't specify total width, they just say they're for small faces. They're also 96.00 which is more than I wanted to spend on the frames.
If anyone can recommend a good site or if you have a similar prescription and successfully had larger lenses made I would greatly appreciate hearing about it.
