Zeke, afaik, no model shows a complete shutdown. There are references in here: http://www.ukcip.org.uk/news_releases/THC_Sept07.pdf if you're interested, there are quite a few posts on my modest little blog on the subject of sea ice and the THC/AMOC, with links to a number of paper produced this year. Good luck with the Yale thing: I'll feature it on the blog...
