Hi, Larry and all other Ercoupe types; I have a Longeze so I appreciate the rudder comments. The Longeze has 2 rudders which swing outward independently. You never use the rudders except on final with a crosswind. In cruise you ignore them. Foot room is tight and it is more comfortable for many pilots to put their feet above and beyond the rudder pedals for 99% of the flight. One pilot was approaching the airport and found that his shoelace on one side WAS CAUGHT on the rudder pedal. There is NO WAY you can reach the rudder with your hand. Had a heck of a time getting his foot back to where it was supposed to be, but he did. Of course, in an Ercoupe with no rudder pedals, this could never happen. ==^================================================================ This email was sent to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] EASY UNSUBSCRIBE click here: http://topica.com/u/?aVxiLm.aVzvvT Or send an email to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] T O P I C A -- Register now to manage your mail! http://www.topica.com/partner/tag02/register ==^================================================================
