The only way raising the nose can cause the CG to shift aft is if you've got a bowling ball in the tail cone. Something has to either move, fall out of, fall off of, or fall into the plane to change the CG. Ask him to demonstrate with CG calculations how this happens. Oh, and don't let him work on your plane!
