I do agree with the 500 hr top, but the Continental that makes it past 1500 hrs bomb is the exception, not the rule My c75 is going on 2200 hrs on the bottom and the top has been done at least twice that I know of. My trusted mechanic has told me that the small continental bottoms are bomb proof. I have the oil analyzed every 50 hrs and it has always come back clean. I'll take my coupe anywhere that I would take a "rental cessna or piper". jack P.S.
