United States Federal Aviation Administration
Dear sirs:
I am buying an ercoupe in Canada. Although I realize that I
have no say in the way that affairs are carried out
in your country, please understand that A.D.s brought forward by you
will affect me in the same manner that it
would a U.S. ercoupe owner. The plane I am buying has been completely
disassembled & reassembled as
I have looked on . I have watched as the inspection of the center
section & subsequent application of corrosion
inhibitor has taken place. I have seen pictures of where you propose to
cut holes in the air frame.
I have also seen the inspection proposal put forward by John Wright.
This proposal is, in my veiw, much
more favourable to the FAA proposal. In fact I would go so far as to say
that I would rather remove the wings
& INTERIOR on a YEARLY basis for inspection rather than cut these holes
in the mid section. My aircraft
mechanic & I are in complete agreement on this. Please take a second
look at John Wright's proposed
five year inspection.
