If you would really be willing to do that, forget Ceconite - just go back
to
really cheap cotton and a good fire-retardant dope.

Having covered wings on two Luscombes and a Coupe I can't believe anyone
would seriously suggest this. If I had to recover every five years, I can
assure you that I'd either go metal or be in the market for a different
aircraft type.

This is getting unreasonable. Why not just mandate a complete disassembly
and restoration of the aircraft every 2 years and be done with it? I'm
sure
the Ercoupe would be no more expensive to own than a similar small two
seat
helicopter.
