I'm not crazy about quadrant throttles in the first place, and have often thought that it would be nice to take out the quadrant and replace the throttle and trim both with vernier types. I like vernier throttles on Ercoupes... ...makes it real nice to 'dial' your way down that last power reduction. You could also rig up a toggle to transfer the movement from a vernier cable to the trim cable over on the left side. That would be, I think, a pretty slick arrangement.
