Don't think so.  If you are not IFR rated and wishing to attain, you have 
to have
more than what one would really use.  You must be proficient at all kinds
of
approaches - not just the ones do-able in your own plane!

Ye cats!  What kind of top speed do you see in that bird?  Are you sure 
you'll be
able to keep ahead of the 737's on the ILS?
