My check ride did nor require an ADF approach even though my training
included it.
I do not have ADF equipment but with the VOR and ILS approaches, I should
be
able to do a lot, keep improving skills, still avoid IMC conditions, stay
current and enjoy!
Coming home the other nite, just after dark, I found the Garmin 295 more
helpful than the VOR since the VOR stn was 15 nm away from my field.
