The first one didn't say anything about not complaining, it simply
clarified that they did not provide feedback when offered the choice..  And
the second one came AFTER the complaint about people saying that; so it was
a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Switching back is a form of feedback... when prompted to enter "why"...
saying "I don't like it because..." is better feedback.  "I don't like it
fellow users who can't do anything about it, Gmail sucks" is fruitless
complaining, which isn't healthy for a user's forum either.
