Visit this page <http://gmailaccountrecovery.blogspot.co.uk/> as it is very likely your account was hacked; you just have access back. As the page will tell you, it's very unlikely that you'll be able to recover the messages, but reporting it to Google (through the Feedback links; and not any Forum) is the only possible way that it MIGHT happen.
I have heard of a few isolated cases where the problem was on GMail's servers, and not an account hacking, and the emails mysteriously re-appeared. From what I heard, there was no official response from Google, so don't expect it from your messages.
