First,

Ben, thanks for the appreciation, as others have given it as well. I do
thank you all for supporting me and the efforts I am giving to make this
the best LUG in the country, and the most talked about also.

You are absolutely correct in asserting that we need a Treasurer for the
GNHLUG. We are taking applications from members now. My idea is to have the
two signature mandatory for any outgoing written checks from GNHLUG and the
idea of a policy for what the money is to be spent on by catagories is also
a good one. Though, we don't want to get bogged down by spending by
committee.

How about the Finance committee formed by the Chairman, Treasurer and one
member from each Chapter to set the initial policy?

To make the hearts go pitter patter, we have so far $65.85 from the LBS and
$128.00 from the Manchester meeting for a total of $193.85 in the bank,
plus as soon as I can add up the CD sales, we will have more.
