I started the installation from a floopy. The system has an old 3x
panasonic cd-rom /w controller that I had to specify arguments for
during installation. I received this error while booting up, after the
installation. Also note that the system does not load the module for the
cdrom during boot up. I have to insmod the sbpcd module after the system
has booted. It will also not load the driver for the 3com nic. I have to
insmod the driver for that too.
