Yes things are working well now....I was able to add a 3com nic to the
system, and make it work correctly by adding the correct lines to the
conf.modules. if looks like this:
alias eth0 3c509
Now when I bootup I do not get any errors.
I was able to get the cd-rom working by adding the following line to
/etc/rc.d/rc.local
insmod sbpcd sbpcd=0x630,0
Now the cdrom works as expected. The only other thing is that I had to
add a line in /etc/fstab for the cdrom.
