I think the jobs postings serve a useful purpose.
When I talk about Linux to people just getting into the field,
or students, I say:
"1/3 of the internet uses Linux 1/3 of the internet uses some
other form of *nix. Which system would you rather learn?"
If I can show them Linux specific jobs, better yet.
It also might help give perspective to those new to this list.
