        When I upgraded to the 2.3.x kernel to plau with the USB stuff, I had
to try 4 or 5 different rev's until I finally found one that worked with
my system. I settled on the 2.3.20 (which doesn't require upgrading
modutils or anything). Most of the others complained about one piece of
hardware or another, others just didn't want to compile. 
        With the development kernels, it's really a hit-or-miss situation. Of
course, you could always figure outwhat's wrong, go through the source
and fix it ;-)
