No offense, but you have effectively said, "It is broken, anyone know what
is wrong with it?" without giving us *any* information. :-) We need some
sort of clue as to what is wrong in order to help you out. What error
messages does the kernel emit before/as it panics? If you don't know how to
interpret them, copy them all down by hand and type them into an email. :-)

You are aware that kernel releases with an odd number in the second position
(e.g., "3" for 2.3.42) are considered "experimental", right?
