OK. Sorry about the lack of information. I was more so just asking (which
I realize I wasn't clear about) if anyone has experienced an "general"
difficulty with getting the kernel installed (you know - something like
where Kenny said he had try several kernels before he got one to work on
his hardware and which one worked for him).
One of the first things I learned about kernels is which releases are
development. I started using linux only about 2 years ago so I would still
consider myself a newbie - but I'm still no stranger hacking around with
kernels (not source code, mind you, I'm far to stupid for that).
