This I find highly amusing. Judges for the Supreme Court of the State of VT.
are willing to compromise their personal privacy for a little convenience.
Please tell Their Honors that if they learn to use good passwords, there will
be no inconvenience at all. But if they insist upon remaining ignorant and
comfortable, then they will likely experience an inconvenience, the likes of
which they probably never knew existed. Everything they send via e-mail risks
being intercepted, used against them, and possibly put on display for the
world. And don't forget to remind them that e-mail transcripts can be used in
Courts of Law as articles of evidence.
Oh, and welcome them to the 21st century for me, where knowledge is power, and
the knowledge to crack into a network and invade someone's privacy is a
commodity some 10 year old can get of the internet :)
