That's the key right there... It ISN'T stable.

Take a look at the 2.4.0-test2 kernel... USB is coming to linux in a big
way very very soon.

Check out the mtv mpeg player... I can dig up a link if you can't find it.

Well, you have MPAA to thank for that. But it's coming... I recently
heard that there was a commercial player for Linux being released. It may
be out now, I don't know. Free support is realistically a ways off,
because the MPAA sucks.
