I've only used Oracle but most databases have similar components. Setting
up a database is a confusing task until you have done it and worked with
them a few times. I would suggest you just pick one and spend the time to
figure it out. Having set up Oracle, I got it up on Novell the first try,
but didn't know what to do with it after that. If you choose Oracle maybe
my DBA here wouldn't mind giving a few pointers.
