Well it doesnt take a whole lot to prevent types of attacks. Look at the
recent rash of virii... all of them were VBS scripts.. simple solution is to
setup your mailserver to filter all *.vbs files. Sure, its not a failproof
solution, but nothing is. Its just a step in the right direction. What about
the recent IIS holes? Im sure 90% of those attacks wouldve never happened if
cmd.exe was renamed or totally deleted (because most of the hacks were made
by kiddiez).

The trick is to look for patterns, and act upon them.
