The draft of the Social Contract at <https://wiki.gnu.tools/gnu:social-contract> does not mention how people should be âexpelledâ if they âdisagreeâ. On the contrary: itâs about building a shared understanding of what some (hopefully most!) of us commit to as members of the Project.
What GNU maintainers commit to is being technical maintainers, this has been the case since the inception of the project. Any notion of a social contract has alrady been rejected by the GNU project; see email from head of the GNU project. So any discussions of such a thing on this list are not useful, I suggest you drop those discussions here.
