Fellow Test Rats,
Anyone want to be a test rat for RPMS? Last time I released them on the
ftp server and Linas about tracked me down and killed me... so this time
I figure I will have a few test rats try them out before we release
anything... Then I put them in the unstable/ directory tree.. and put
big flashy unstable messages everywhere. Then... if I know that these
builds work correctly I will try to setup some kind of scripts to do
daily ( weekly ) CVS builds. Unless there are any objections?
With that said...
I need people with an RPM based distro. Someone who has had trouble
getting Gnucash to install. These RPMS are built on a Red Hat 6.1
system, and I have tested them with a completely stock "Workstation"
install of Red Hat 6.0. So any takers? If so.. email me at the address
below and I will give you details of where to get them... I will also
help you get them installed if you have any problems. Oh, and these
RPMS are for the Gnome version.
BTW, am I wrong in thinking that most of the trouble getting Gnucash
compiled is coming from the Motif version?
