So far I have had several people download and install the first series
of RPMS and all of them have had great success!

We might want to release a 1.2.4 for Motif. But I think the Gnome
version should hit a 1.3.x first so that we can release some Beta RPMS
for people to hammer on for us. There are still quite a few minor bugs
in the Gnome version.

I suppose I will work on this next. Right now I am working on getting
working Gnome RPMS built for the above proposed beta release.

So the question is should we call then next Gnome release:
Gnucash Gnome 1.3.0 Beta Release 1
Gnucash 1.3.0 Beta Release 1
Gnucash 1.4.0 Beta Release 1
Gnucash 1.99.0 Beta Release 1
Something along these lines. Something that is obvious it is just beta
quality code? Something that we can announce to the world and not get
people pissed because a few things broke. Because it was made very
clear that it was beta.
Rob Browning, Rob Coker, and myself all appear to be using the current
CVS gnome version for our daily finances. Perhaps we should sit on this
a week so that anyone using the current CVS code can find major show
stoppers before a release?
