I vote for "Gnucash 1.3.0 Beta Release 1"

It is a logical progression from 1.2.x rather then skipping straight
to 1.4.0

Also let us not include the name of a GUI toolkit into release name.
GnuCash still supports Motif as well as GNOME. Even though it is
heading towards GNOME, do we want to make it completely GNOME
centric ? I maybe re-visiting a very old discussion but I have
recently joined the mailing list. I am unable to run GNOME on my
system but do have Lesstif. But the fact that GnuCash supports
Lesstif is what attracted me to it. I have tried CBB, but it GnuCash
seems easier to work with, especially with the fact that a Scheme
implementation is used as its extension language.

Just my $0.02

mehul
p.s. If I have no choice I guess I will have to find a way to upgrade
my system to run GNOME somehow.
