Had the same problem yesterday although my impatience didn't allow me to let
things run for 4 hours. After a couple of hours, I shut it down and got the
same error message. I'm using F::Q 1.47 and GNC 2.6.16 with Windows 10 on an
HP laptop. FWIW, I am trying to retrieve about 35 quotes (US stock/bond
funds). Over the course of the last couple of months, I've been getting
fewer and fewer of them so I've had to resort to manual entry for the
others.
