Moving the data will get you going on the new platform -- I have my files on 
the google drive already, so I can gnucash from Linux, Win 10, Win 11 2 places. 
 However, gnucash preferences are in a different data set in the gnucash 
install folder, and I am not sure if they are portable and which files they are.
